Lisa Gansner
Miss Lisa is the proud owner and operator of Dance Express & Tumbling, bringing over 30 years of local and professional experience in dance and acro. A former St. Louis Rams Cheerleader, she has trained extensively, including studies at Webster University. Throughout her career, Lisa has coached competitive school dance and tumbling teams, as well as directed and choreographed award-winning studio competition routines. She has performed in a variety of productions, including West Side Story and Grease, and has received multiple choreography awards at regional competitions. Lisa holds two Master’s degrees in School Administration and Counseling, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Education—combining her passion for the arts with a strong foundation in child development and learning. Lisa began dancing and tumbling at the age of five, and her lifelong love for movement and working with children led her to open her own studio at just 25 years old. She spent her childhood years performing and competing in acro and dance as well as an extensive cheer/dance background. Many of her former students have gone on to become members of college dance and cheer teams, a testament to her dedication and mentorship. From Lisa: “I am the proud mother of four amazing children—three boys and one girl. My passion for dance, acro, and working with kids has shaped my journey as a studio owner and instructor. I believe dance and acro should be fun, positive, safe, and a natural outlet for children—a place where they can truly be themselves. I’m so excited to see what the future holds for our studio family!” |
